Bananas are not only good for health, they are great for your skin as they are packed with vitamins and potassium!
I use Loving Raw Organic Maqui Powder, an ethical Australian owned company which produces certified organic chocolate and other superfoods…try their chocolate, oh my gosh delicious!!
Makes 7 muffins
- 90g almond meal
- 5 medium ripe bananas
- 30g Maqui powder
- 1tsp baking powder
- 1tsp cinnamon ground
- Optional-handful of pomegranate seeds or dried unsweetened cranberries
1. Preheat oven to 180 C
2. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl mashing in the banana
3. Bake for around 15 minutes
4. Leave out to cool
5. Store in fridge for a week or freezer for up to 3 months
Getting enough protein is so important for all, particularly vegans. With each ingredient being a source of protein, whip up a nutrient dense meal in minutes! Lose the bread, mushroom cups are a great alternative to sandwich’s! Mushrooms are high in potassium, calcium, vitamin D, selenium and a source of lean protein. FYI selenium is reported to be great for gorgeous skin/hair. Spinach is a low calorie superfood packed with nutrients, vitamins and protein!
